Based in the Pacific Northwest, we serve the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area,
Oregon and SW Washington.
Our Company
NorthWest ComTech brings many years of experience to the technology and telecommunications
arena. We provide the personal service on a local level that our customers have come
to depend on. Our membership in IDeACOM, a large national organization of technology
and telecommunication providers, gives us the necessary resources to offer that same
level of service and technology on a national basis. NorthWest ComTech provides equipment
hardware and software sales, installation and service, voice and data cabling, network
services, dial tone provision and a host of technology and telecommunications peripheral
products and services. Our national account, maintenance and project management programs
let our customers focus on what is important,
their business, not on office technology.
We strive to keep our clients current with new technologies that may affect their business
both now and into the future. We understand the adds, moves and changes required by
our clientele in a fast changing business climate.
Our Founder
Founder Terry Gerke has been in the telecommunications industry for over 25 years. His
experience is a result of those years, in conjunction with his tenure as a Regional Sales
Manager with a large telephone manufacturing company. As an independent businessman, Terry
provides a common sense business solution based on the customers need and budget.
Our Products
So that we can offer the best solutions to our customer's ever-changing needs, NorthWest ComTech
partnered with Vodavi Communication Systems and NEC Unified Solutions as our primary product
vendors. The wide range of products and services offered by these companies lend integrity and
flexibility as we work to fulfill the needs of our customers. NorthWest ComTech has a great
number of vendors and suppliers for peripheral products to enhance workplace efficiency and
productivity. Each installation is custom designed to meet the needs of each client. There is
no one technology or one communications system that meets every company's need. With multiple
vendors, NorthWest ComTech can design a solution based on each customer's specific requirements.
Our Customer Service and Technical Team
NorthWest ComTech ensures that installations meet customer's needs and expectations, and that all
personnel are fully trained on how to use the equipment to its fullest potential. NorthWest
ComTech technicians are factory trained and certified on an ongoing basis. Customers can be assured
that the experience of our technical staff, coupled with technical support from our vendors will keep
their communications system running at optimum efficiency.
Customer service is important at NorthWest ComTech. Our customer service team addresses all needs,
from simple programming changes, to expansion or replacement. Customers depend on NorthWest ComTech
to provide this greater level of service with a minimum of disruption or downtime.
Our Warranty
It is important that the system work for the customer, not for the customer to work for the system.
A five-star manufacturer's parts warranty allows customers to focus on what is important in their
business, taking care of
their customers, not taking care of their telephone system. Extended
warranties are available up to 5 years.
What Customers Can Expect
Once partnered with NorthWest ComTech, the first step in the process is a preliminary visit to
the customer site by a member of our project management team. At this meeting, we will review
the features and functionality of the equipment, and begin the information gathering process.
This allows us to pre-program the system and minimize installation time. Testing, final
programming changes and training are completed upon installation. Training sessions are based
on the specific applications for each customer.
Warranty and Maintenance Contract Services
All new telephone systems include a manufacturer's parts warranty and a one-year labor
warranty from NorthWest ComTech. Additional labor warranty is available through our
Maintenance Contract Services. After the one-year labor warranty has expired, a maintenance
contract will offer the security of knowing the system is protected, should the need arise.
Maintenance programs are designed to meet the needs of the customer.
National Account Program
NorthWest ComTech has a custom designed National Account Program, created to meet the specific
needs of multi-location accounts. Our membership in IDeACOM, a national organization of technology
and communications providers, allows us to service customers nationwide, bringing the organization
of all national locations to one central point. Flexible and efficient, the National Account Program
puts the power back in the customer's hands.
